The Patient Resource Centre was established in June 1993 and is managed by the Medical Social Services ( Hospital Authority ). It aims at providing a comprehensive patient-oriented service and supportive network for patients and their caregivers; It also strives for building a healthy community through the participation of volunteers and community partners.
Actively engage clinical teams to provide empowerment programs, patient education initiatives and other psychosocial support activities for patients and caregivers.
Facilitate the development of self-help groups and mutual support networks for patients and their caregivers
Develop, coordinate and monitor volunteer services for better patient care
Build up platforms for the involvement of community partners and service users to contribute in HA healthcare services
