SPECIALIST OUT-PATIENT CLINICS
Queen Mary Hospital (QMH) is one of the major regional acute public hospitals under the Hospital Authority (HA). It is also the teaching hospital of Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, the University of Hong Kong. In addition to public services, QMH also provides private out-patient specialist services. QMH’s private clinic services are provided by the University’s professors, HA doctors, and clinical psychologists approved by Queen Mary Hospital

New Case Registration
- Please call the concerned Private Clinic for appointment enquiry. The patient is required to submit a referral letter, either by fax or in person. Please specify the patient’s name, ID, contact telephone number and the name of the preferred doctor.
- The clinic will forward the referral letter to the appropriate doctor. If the referral is accepted, the clinic will schedule the first consultation appointment and notify the patient accordingly.
Important notes
- Within the Hospital Authority, a patient can only register as either a public or private patient status within the same sub-specialty. If a public patient decides to transition to private status, his/her public patient status will be cancelled.
- If a private patient decides to change his/her status from private to public, he/she should go to the reception of the clinic for the necessary arrangements. The staff will assist the patient in changing his/her status.

Our Private Clinic accepts: Cash, Credit Card and EPS. For fees and charges, please approach the clinic staff.
