Our Services
In-patient Physiotherapy Services
The in-patient unit provides physiotherapy services to hospitalized patients with acute cardiac, respiratory, medical, orthopedic & traumatic and neurological problems, aiming to help patients regain physical capabilities to the greatest extent before discharging from the hospital. The unit also provides out-patient services to acute traumatic hand patients.
Moreover, the unit serves as a clinical education centre for the BSc & MPT programmes of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and BSc programme of the Tung Wah College.

Out-patient Physiotherapy Services - David Trench Rehabilitation Centre
Physiotherapy out-patient unit of the department is a satellite clinic located at David Trench Rehabilitation Centre on High Street. It serves a wide variety of patients suffering from various physical problems such as degeneration, trauma and post-surgery. It also covers rehabilitation service to geriatric patients and people with neurological diseases.
The out-patient unit endeavors to its best to provide updated and comprehensive physiotherapy rehabilitation program to the community. We also provide service in Nurse and Allied Health Clinic (NAHC) for the Family Medicine and Primary Health Department of HKWC.
Physiotherapy Department – Tsan Yuk Hospital
It is under the management of Physiotherapy Department of Queen Mary Hospital. Women health physiotherapy services are provided to obstetric and gynaecological clients. We provide services in ante-natal exercises, post-natal exercises, and individual consultation for peri-natal spino-pelvis conditions, urogynaecological conditions and lower limbs lymphoedema.
