Occupational therapy is a profession concerned with promoting health and well being through occupation. The primary goal of occupational therapy is to enable people to participate in the activities of everyday life.
Occupational therapists achieve this outcome by enabling people to do things that will enhance their ability to participate or by modifying the environment to better support participation.
Occupational therapists work with individuals of any age who are affected by developmental problems, psychosocial issues, physical or psychiatric problems and the aging process.

Our Service
Occupational Therapy Service was first established in Hong Kong in 1953 at Queen Mary Hospital. At present, we are providing a comprehensive range of physical and psychiatric services for in-patients, day patients and out-patients. We also provide services at David Trench Rehabilitation Centre and General Out-patient Clinics. Our services include:
